David is a Chartered Accountant who has worked exclusively in public practice. He received his Honours Accounting Co-op degree from the University of Waterloo in 1989 and went on to obtain his Chartered Accountant designation in 1990.

Throughout his career David has focused on small to medium sized owned operated businesses in a wide range of industries. David enjoys working closely with business owners to help them achieve their goals and stresses to them the importance of working “on” their business instead of “in” it. This is especially important to new business owners who can easily get caught up in the administration of their business and lose sight of what’s most important – generating revenue.

No two clients are the same and he adapts his services to meet the individual needs of his clients. Integration of personal and corporate taxation is one of David’s many strengths and he emphasizes to his clients that it’s not what you earn that’s important, it’s what you keep.
